The London Spirits Competition judges brands the same way consumers do: by taste; what the bottle or design looks like; and how much does it cost. Any competition in drinks depends on two things: the quality of the products presented; and respect for the expertise of the judges tasked with determining the winners. The London Spirits Competition has a strong focus on both areas as each year it strengthens its reputation around the world among leading spirits producers, brand owners and drinks distributors.

The London Spirits Competition has been created exclusively by Beverage Trade Network, a global drinks event and publishing group dedicated to helping drinks producers and brand owners get closer to buyers, distributors and retailers who can bring their products to market.

The competition’s judging is divided into three key areas: quality; Value; and Packaging and Design. The judges provide scores for each criterion, which together form the London Spirits Competition score upon which a medal is awarded.
