In light of the COVID-19 health crisis and to prioritize the well-being and safety of our visitors, community and Boston residents, we are making changes to the INBOUND experience. For the first time in our 9-year history, INBOUND will not accept personal experiences. Instead, we are creating a new immersive online experience that will take place over two days.

Announcing that an in-person event is taking place online is not unique in the current climate. The COVID-19 pandemic has upended an industry where it is no longer safe to gather in large groups. Many of our industry colleagues who had events planned over the past few weeks and months have had to turn around and roll out their events overnight. To the people who worked around the clock to make this happen, we salute you.

However, as we watched the world around us quickly change, and as we considered our options for INBOUND, simply moving our event online was not an option. The magic of INBOUND is and always has been the “it” factor that happens when you bring together incredible speakers covering unique and interesting topics, creative activations and experiences, and a uniquely engaged attendee base that brings it all to life – meeting, connecting and learning from each other the same way they make content delivered from the stage. Therefore, since we have never settled for the status quo in our personal experiences, we bet that the INBOUND online experience will be no different.

INBOUND will go beyond just broadcasting content. INBOUND will be more than just a personalized experience. INBOUND will bring participants together wherever they are: physically, with connection, energy, personality and excitement. We believe that events should create a shared moment in time that brings a community together and creates a space for energy to rise to connect and connect, allowing everyone to feel like they are part of something bigger, something worth getting excited about and rallying around, no matter , average. It’s the secret sauce that has always made INBOUND special, and when we think about how we’re going to deliver INBOUND through this new, interactive, immersive experience, creating a way to do that is top of mind for us.
