The Shropshire County Agricultural Show was established in the late nineteenth century when it was run as a joint venture, the Shropshire and West Midlands Agricultural Society. Since 1875, farming has seen huge changes in farming methods, machinery and engine technology, but despite this, Greenhous West Mid has always kept abreast of new trends and continues to showcase the latest initiatives.
The annual Shropshire County Agricultural Show attracts thousands of people from across the country to the West Mid showground in Shrewsbury to celebrate the rural community and highlight the role it plays in our daily lives.
The Shropshire County Agricultural Show is a great opportunity to show off the wonderful offerings across Shropshire and the Midlands, from livestock to local businesses and of course local produce. The support from the local community and visitors has been outstanding and we hope that 2021 will continue to grow and be even bigger and better than last year.
