About Exhibition Center IEC Kyiv International Exhibition Center
The largest and most popular exhibition center in Kyiv and the whole of Ukraine is the IEC (International Exhibition Center). Events such as exhibitions, conferences, forums, congresses, and shows are constantly held here.
For example, in 2017, it was the venue of the Eurovision Song Contest.
IEC Kyiv was officially opened in October 2002 and received the status of the largest exhibition complex in the country. The center is united in a single spatial solution. There are three pavilions (divided into two sectors A and C), with a total area of 58,000 square meters.
The organizers always indicate in which pavilion and sector the event will take place, so pay attention to it, and you will not have to look for it for a long time.
The author of the IEC concept is Janusz Wig. The first phase of the construction project (the first pavilion) was Eduard Safronov, and the chief architect of the second phase (the second and third pavilions) was Mikhail Gershenzon. The third phase of construction began in the summer of 2017. New pavilions, a hotel, and an amphitheater are planned. It is designed to finish the construction in 2019. The construction of the 4th pavilion in the International Exhibition Center from the side of the entrances 2 C and 3 C near the supermarket NOVUS is in progress.
