Messe Dortmund, also known as Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund, is a prominent exhibition center in Dortmund, Germany.
It was opened in 1925. It was extensively rebuilt and expanded in 1952 after severe damage during World War II. The exhibition center is conveniently located near various transportation hubs, including Dortmund International Airport (13 km), Düsseldorf International Airport (63 km), and Dortmund Central Railway Station (3.9 km), making it well-connected to major cities in Germany and Europe.
The center has nine air-conditioned exhibition halls and 30 meeting rooms of various sizes. It offers a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters. Approximately 60 events are held at Messe Dortmund each year. The venue’s Congress Center was awarded the Barrier-free Access-Compliant Certificate in 2015, highlighting its accessibility features.
Transportation
Messe Dortmund is accessible by various means of transport. By train, take the U45 or U46 to Westfalenhallen Station, the U42 to Theodor-Fliedner-Heim Station, the RB to Signal Iduna Park Station, or the S4 to Möllerbrücke Station.
