International Christmas Market Dortmund – With 300 stalls selling arts and crafts, Christmas decorations, pretty toys and more, there’s just about everything to get your heart racing during the Advent season. And what would a walk through the Christmas city of Dortmund be without the typical mulled wine and many other specialty drinks? The mulled wine cup has a new theme this year, especially anticipated by collectors. Cooking delights the Christmas town of Dortmunder once again with hearty dishes such as Bratwurst, grilled Westphalian ham, Dortmund potatoes, fish or cheese. And for those who love sweets, chocolate dishes, roasted almonds, fresh pancakes and other delicacies are back.

Young visitors enjoy a special children’s program with Hohnsteiner Kasper, as well as in the Christmas village, in the fairytale show or in the Salasas Theater tent. And, of course, the largest Christmas tree is shining again, 45 meters high and with approximately 48,000 lights.
