About event

The International Transport Forum (ITF) holds its annual summit. The annual ITF summit is the premier event in global transport policy. Since 2008, the Summit has brought together ministers from around the world to share policy perspectives with CEOs, heads of international organizations, thought leaders from civil society and academia, and the media. Over the past few years, participation in the Summit has grown to over 1,000 participants from over 70 countries, well beyond the ITF’s 59 member countries. The summit examines strategic and topical issues across all modes of transport, where participants can engage in debate in a variety of session formats. Each year at the Summit, ministers from ITF member countries adopt an annual Ministerial Declaration, which sets out a set of commitments to pursue sound policies and practices in the area of focus at the current Summit.
