Congress-Centrum Saar GmbH (CCS) is a company founded in 1997 and responsible for the operation of the Saarlandhalle and the Congresshalle in Saarbrücken, Germany. These venues are top locations in Saarland for various events, including trade fairs, conferences, congresses, concerts, shows, sporting events, and social gatherings. Approximately 500 events are held in these venues each year.
Both the Saarlandhalle and the Congresshalle offer various rooms suitable for a wide range of events, from small meetings to large concerts and trade fairs. The Saarlandhalle, particularly, is known for its flexibility and suitability for cultural, show, and sporting events, conferences, and congresses.
The staff of CCS is highly trained and has many years of experience in event organization and implementation, ensuring the success of events held in their venues.
CCS is 80% owned by the State of Saarland and 20% by the City of Saarbrücken. The company’s managing directors are Ralf Kirch and Michael Hoppstädter, and the supervisory board chairman is Dr. Gerd Bauer.
In 2016, CCS was the regional co-organizer of the National IT Summit of the Federal Ministry of Economics.
