Laubengasse is a 400-metre-long series of arcades supported by masonry columns that connect the Pfarrplatz (parish square) with the Kornplatz (grain square) in the heart of the city of Meran, Italy. The facades date from different periods and are embellished with various carved decorations. Laubengasse is the street that runs under the Portici and has been the commercial heart of the town since the Middle Ages1. The best shops in the city can be found under these arcades.
