The Penticton Peach Festival is an annual tradition in the South Okanagan Valley that began in 1947 with a celebration of the peach harvest in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. This warm and welcoming lakeside community offers high-quality wine and culinary experiences, as well as ample outdoor recreation opportunities in a climate that is one of the most desirable in Canada.

The Penticton Peach Festival begins on the first Wednesday morning after the August long weekend (a civic holiday) and runs for five days at Okanagan Lake Park, ending on Sunday evening. Our Volunteer Running Festival is one of the largest family-friendly festivals in Canada and we are celebrating our 72nd year in 2019. You and your family can look forward to a variety of events including the annual race at Percy Bean in the city centre, Shooting Star Amusements at the midway (Rotary Park), Quad Dance Festival, Sand Castle Competition (Skaha Lake at Sundial), Miss Coronation Penticton, Sheila Bishop Wooden Bat Shuttle Tournament (Lions Park), PenTown Throwdown Skateboard and BMX Competition (Penticton Youth Park) and Kid Zone (Gyro Park). Our Peters Brothers Parade is one of the largest in British Columbia and there is a children’s parade for the little ones!
