BeijingChinaInternational ExhibitionCenter (CIECis a large exhibition center located in the northeastern part of Beijing, Chaoyang District.

Founded in 1985, China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation (CIECGroup) is a group enterprise under the direct management of the China Exhibition Council Promotion of International Trade (CPPIT). With 28 subsidiaries and affiliates, CIEC has significant influence and develops its business in a variety of aspects, including gallery operations, exhibition management and participation at home and abroad, exhibition technology, exhibition transport and advertising. CIEC Group serves as the chairman of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) division.

The old exhibition complex was built in 1985 and was included in the Top 10 buildings in Beijing in the 1980s, receiving a special award. In 2008, the first stage of construction of a new center building began, which is located in the Shunyi district of Beijing. Divided into three phases, the new gallery was planned to occupy 265,000 square meters. m, the building area increased by 2,250 sq. m. m. The gallery’s internal and external exhibition area is 106,800 sq. m. m. The new gallery has significantly improved the development of the exhibition industry in Beijing.

The main characteristics of CIEC:

• 8 exhibition halls, with a total area of ​​60,000 square meters. m;
• open area of ​​7,000 sq. m;
• site for containers with an area of ​​10,000 sq. m, customs warehouse with an area of ​​3,000 sq. m;
• all exhibition halls have access to electricity, water supply and sewerage, telecommunications, heating and air conditioning systems;
• lecture halls, conference rooms, business centers and restaurants with Chinese and Western Cuisine

China International Exhibition Center has organized and organized about 350 international exhibitions, including the China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT) and the China International Textile Machinery Exhibition (CITME). The Beijing International Fair and the Asia-Pacific International Trade Fair are also known as the only general fairs held in the CIV. Currently, 50 exhibitions are listed on the CIEC schedule as regular events, most of which are held biennially.

CIEC Group is the first Chinese enterprise to join the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the International Association of Exhibitions and events (IAEE).
