Vilnius Book Fair in 2025 in Vilnius, Lithuania

What’s special about the Vilnius Book Fair:

• The largest book fair in the Baltic countries. More than 65,000 visitors, 350 exhibitors. This year we are pleased to welcome 358 exhibitors from 9 countries. The fair will be held in 5 exhibition halls and will cover an area of ​​18,500 sq.m.
• An outstanding cultural program and events with famous Lithuanian and foreign authors / more than 400 cultural events take place during the four days of the fair.
• New names, new books and new items in the publishing market.
• Hall of children’s literature. All the latest children’s literature presented by Lithuanian and foreign publishers, as well as a space where children can play freely and where events dedicated to them take place in a specially established “stage for children”.
• The creative studio invites the youngest visitors to the fair to take part in creative workshops, readings, meetings with authors of children’s literature, book illustrators from Lithuania and foreign countries. The creative studio is part of the Children’s Literary Hall and was initiated and organized by the famous Lithuanian artist Sigute Hlebinskaite.
• Forum – LRT Studio is an event platform where Lithuanian national television and radio broadcasts radio and television programs, conducts live interviews with authors and artists, and gives live broadcasts directly from the Fair.
• The Discussion Club invites you to enjoy serious discussions and intelligent conversations with famous Lithuanian and foreign representatives of culture, art, business and science. Discussions are held at the Forum – LRT Studio area.
• Music hall. New releases from Lithuanian music publishers and live music performers. The Music Hall is a new project that will start at the Vilnius Book Fair 2015! Organizer – AGATA Association.
• Art exhibitions. Every year a wide variety of exhibitions of works by artists, book illustrators, and photographers are held.
• Literary Cafe . Poetry recited by jazz is a feature of the long Friday and Saturday evenings (when the fair is open until 9pm!)
• The library is open. A new, friendly and modern library created by the Lithuanian Librarians Association. Another space that is suitable for reading and socializing, especially among young people.
• Awakening of the Second-hand Bookseller. Another area for those visitors who like to read and collect used books or listen to vinyl records.
• Book cinema hall. Screenshot of recent films made after famous novels and documentaries about writers, poets and artists.
