The complex is located at: Gunnar Warebergs gate 13, 4021 Stavanger, Norway.

History of Stavanger Forum: from Rogaland Messen to a modern event complex

The history of Stavanger Forum does not begin with a single building, but with the development of the region’s exhibition culture.

• 1960: Rogaland Messen AS was founded, becoming an important part of the city’s exhibition and congress scene.
• 1981: Stavanger Foundation was established as a joint marketing and operating structure for exhibitions, conventions and tourism.
• 1992: The foundation’s structure changed, with a greater role for the municipality and business community.
• 1999: Stavanger Forum was created. Today it is owned by the City of Stavanger and Rogaland County Council.
• 2015: The launch of Forum Expo strengthened the venue with a new multifunctional hall for exhibitions, concerts and large banquets.

• From Stavanger Airport, Sola — about 15 minutes by car.
• From Stavanger city centre — approximately 3-5 minutes by car.
• There are two large car parks on site: P-Forum and P-Siddis.
• P-Forum: 289 spaces, 6 payment machines, 6 spaces for electric vehicles.
• P-Siddis: 360 spaces, 8 payment machines, 10 spaces for electric vehicles, 18 spaces for guests with disabilities.

By bus

• Bus services run between Stavanger city centre and Stavanger Forum approximately every 10 minutes.
• Suitable routes: 2, 3, 6, 7, 10 and 16 to Tjensvollkrysset.
• Travel time from the centre — about 6 minutes.
• The airport bus passes the conference centre several times a day.

On foot

• You can walk from the city centre through Mosvannspark.
• The walking route takes about 20 minutes.

• The complex has a covered bicycle parking area.

By plane

• Stavanger Airport, Sola is connected to 35 international airports.
