History of Josephine County Fairgrounds

Josephine County Fairgrounds was established in 1914, hosting the first county fair. In 1927, the fairgrounds secured a permanent location and has since grown into the largest event center in Southern Oregon.

During World War II (1942–1945), events were temporarily suspended as the grounds were repurposed for military use. Today, it remains a vital hub for community and regional events.
