About Exhibition Center Linfield College
Founded on January 30, 1858, as Baptist College at McMinnville, Linfield University has evolved from a small religious institution into a respected university. In 1922, the college was renamed Linfield in honor of Reverend George Fisher Linfield, thanks to a generous donation from his widow, Frances Eleanor Ross Linfield. In 2020, the institution officially became Linfield University, reflecting the expansion of its academic programs and research activities.
