Join the Fall Wine Festival & Sunset Tour for the most popular event of the year! Sample wines from Virginia's finest wineries while enjoying delicious food, live music and breathtaking estate views. Celebrate the history of Virginia wine with exclusive evening tours of the Mansion and Cellar and performances by Martha Washington and others from the world of Washington. Bring a blanket, relax on the east lawn overlooking the scenic Potomac River, and sample Virginia-made wines. On tours of the Mansion, visit the cellar where Washington stored his wine and learn about the successes and failures of our Founding Father's attempts with wine. All proceeds benefit the ongoing conservation and restoration of Mount Vernon and its educational programs.
