Zhytomyr Polytechnic University is the only civil educational institution of engineering and technological profile in the Zhytomyr region. To provide opportunities for professional career development, employment, internship, and organization of own business, ZhSTU has established the Professional Career Development Center. Cooperation on the model “ZhSTU-student-employer-partner” is implemented, internships of young specialists in the leading enterprises of the region in global companies are introduced, they are involved in the creation of joint products, change management projects, programs of social responsibility of business, which allows to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. Functioning of the model of dual education in ZhSTU allows students to declare themselves and realize their innovative potential – part of knowledge is acquired in classroom skills – in partner enterprises; partners of ZhSTU invest in young people, allocate employer scholarships, pay for internships and practicums, give priority to employment and recruitment of teams for new projects and product development. ZhGTU organizes training on soft skills development, competencies-2030, and coaching sessions for students, trainees, and employees of client companies. To develop the region’s innovation ecosystem, ZhGTU has established the region’s first business incubator. Training of residents – participants of startup teams are free of charge and conducted in their spare time on a convenient schedule with the participation of the world’s best lecturers. The best student startups are presented at world-class fairs – iForum, Innvation Market, YEP Demo Days in UnitCity, and others. CreativePoliHUB is a platform for developing the scientific, innovative, and creative potential of ZhSTU students.
