About Exhibition Center The Palace of Sports
The Palace of Sports is a unique indoor sports and entertainment facility, the largest in Ukraine.
The Palace was opened on December 9, 1960, more than 50 years ago. Over the years, more than 39,000,000 spectators and fans have visited the Palace of Sports.
The brightest phenomenon in the economic life of Kyiv was the International Industrial Exhibition of 1913, which was held in the Palace of Sports. The level of preparation and results of this exhibition, in which about a hundred domestic and foreign organizations and joint-stock companies participated, went far beyond the borders of a single state. There were 24 main sections of the exhibition representing industry, science, agriculture, and sports.
The main features of the Sports Palace
The foyer of the first floor – 5,000 square meters;
The foyer of the second floor – 4,000 square meters;
Arena – 3,000 square meters, 6,113–7,513 seats;
The press center for training, seminars, and organization of press conferences.
The Palace of Sports territory has a permanent exhibition fair of light industry goods. The Kyiv City Fair and essential conferences such as Online Business Lab (OBL) and Business Concentrate 4.0 also exist.
