About Exhibition Center The James Hutton Institute
The James Hutton Institute was established in 2011 through the merger of two leading Scottish research centers — the Scottish Crop Research Institute and the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute. Named after James Hutton, the “father of geology,” the institute combines scientific heritage with innovation in sustainable resource use, food security, and climate change.
