The Decorative Antiques Textiles Fair in 2024 in London, Great Britain

The Decorative Fair is held in Battersea Park three times a year and is the only antiques fair specifically aimed at the interior design buyer.

We are a family-owned fair that opened in 1985 and was the first to specifically combine antiques and home decor. Today we hold three events a year: a winter fair in January, a spring fair in April and an autumn fair during the busy “design season” at the end of September

Back in the 1980s, design companies were looking for more unusual antiques that were rarely available at the main London antiques fairs, so our goal was to give decorators and designers everything they wanted under one roof. The idea came from Patricia Harvey, a dealer in decorative antiques. Her many interior design clients demanded an easier way to source inventory for their clients.

The format brought together a wide range of decorative antiques and twentieth-century design. Mixed with formal antiques, collectibles, artwork and accessories from the 20th century to the unusual, the formula proved to be an instant hit. Participants were encouraged to display their stock in room style. Using their highly creative skills, dealer displays provide ideas and inspiration on how to display items at home. Many of our exhibitors also work as designers for their clients, providing inventory and consulting at the show.
