About Exhibition Center Tokyo Big Sight
Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) – Tokyo Exhibition and Convention Center, the largest exhibition complex in Japan.
Construction of the complex began in October 1992 and lasted three years. Eight contractors were involved in the construction, including two large companies: Hazama and Shimizu.
Opened in April 1996, the center is located in the Koto area, the embankment of Tokyo Bay. The architectural feature is the Conference Tower made of glass and titanium, 58 m high.
The center is operated by Tokyo Big Sight Inc.
