In 1974, the National Exhibition of Arms Dealers and Gunsmiths opened its gates for the first time in Nuremberg with almost 100 exhibitors. It owes its international name IWA OutdoorClassics to its rapidly growing importance outside Germany, as well as its multidisciplinary offer that bridges the gap between traditional craft and innovative ideas for hunting and sporting weapons, outdoor equipment and safety equipment.
