In the past HMA, we left off amid the hype around digital health. We needed it. We needed to make sure we weren't just keeping up with the trend, but running with it, because it led to improved patient outcomes and more efficient care delivery. But we know that digital records and process automation are just the beginning. As we become increasingly digital, there is an opportunity for interoperability between departments, different functions, and between hospitals and healthcare facilities. Then there is AI and data mining; understanding even more effective care protocols—the possibilities are endless. HMA 2023 will focus on advancing the conversation, encouraging Asia to embrace change and more change as we move into the future of healthcare.
