This course, Working Through Veterinary Drug Development in the EU and USA, has been designed to demonstrate how pharmaceutical, pharmacological, toxicological and clinical research and regulatory management are integrated into a development program. Participants will go through all stages of development of a veterinary medicinal product that requires marketing authorization in the European Union and the United States. Presentations will cover pharmaceutical and process research, toxicology, pharmacology, residue and environmental studies, safety risk assessments, clinical development, regulatory and marketing materials, and project management. An important part of the program will be devoted to working on case studies in seminars.
