The Fisherman Feast 2025 in Boston, USA

Fisherman’s Feast, Boston’s oldest continuous Italian festival, features a tempting mix of entertainment, food, street vendors and traditional processions. The event is held in Boston’s North End to honor Madonna del Soccorso (Our Lady of Help) and the ancient local fishing trade. The highlight of each year is a religious procession through the narrow streets with a statue of the Madonna, ending with a grand finale known as the “Flight of the Angel”, in which a young girl dressed as an angel “flies” out of the window of the third story and descends towards the Madonna.
