Oktoberfest La Crosse 2025 in Lacrosse, USA

Approximately 5,000 miles and more than 150 years of history provide the only significant differences between La Crosse, Wisconsin and Munich, Germany in late September and early October each year. At this time of year, both Munich and La Crosse are full of “fun” and a carnival atmosphere, known in both cities as Oktoberfest.

One of the achievements that helped La Crosse earn the 1961 All-American City Award, Oktoberfest USA is one of the few authentic Old World folk festivals held annually in the United States. Each year, numerous local businesses, civic and fraternal groups, and hundreds of local residents volunteering their time join forces with sponsors of La Crosse Festivals, Inc. to develop and present an annual fall festival.
