The world’s largest port festival is Hafengeburtstag Hamburg. Historic sailing boats, nautical parades, fireworks, music and food: celebrate Hamburg’s biggest festival along the banks of the Elbe.

The attractions of HAFENGEBURTSTAG HAMBURG extend from the fish auction hall in Altona to the Kehrwiederspitze, and are also located on the water side and on the shore in HafenCity and therefore in the immediate vicinity of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. Also in the traditional ship port of Grasbruckhafen, Speicherstadt – a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015 – and the harbor museum Oewelgonne offer a maritime and attractive program for the whole family. Thus, HAFENGEBURTSTAG HAMBURG invites you to celebrate and linger on the Elbe River, which is approximately six kilometers long.
