Under the theme “Technology and Animal Welfare – Dairy Barn Live”, you can visit a purpose-built barn for dairy cattle. A group of 10 dairy cows can be observed in their daily life. Feeding and drinking water, thinking, breaks, social contacts, grooming on a rotating cow brush, as well as self-walking in milking machines. This also includes automatic feeding and robotic crevice cleaning.

Wind energy, photovoltaics, biomass and electromobility are changing life in cities and rural areas. Competent exhibitors demonstrate innovative solutions. The range of (alternative) heating systems for your home is particularly wide. The wind energy field is growing in Norla – from a small system to meet its own electricity needs to investment in wind farms.

Farmer’s Meeting and Farmer’s Market

If you are looking for a technical discussion or conversation about life in the country, then you are in good hands at the stand of the farmers’ association and Bauernblatt in halls 1–3. Dishes from Schleswig-Holstein are served. A farmer’s market can be found in the garden at the northern end of the exhibition grounds. Direct and regional marketers greet you by the pool, offering delicious specialties. Free storage and goods transfer service make visiting the fair easier.

Regional products and quality marks

In the hall of the Chamber of Agriculture and at the Schleswig-Holstein quality stand you will receive comprehensive information about quality food products from the region. Northern farmers are also represented there. If you want to chat with suppliers of potatoes, vegetables, meat, fish and milk, then you are in good hands at the stand with the quality mark.
