The international Belt and Road Summit Hong Kong 2024 will be dedicated to aspects of the implementation of the grandiose OBOR (One Belt One Road) plan adopted by the Chinese leadership in 2013, which united two projects “The Economic (Land) Belt of the Great Silk Road” and “Maritime Silk Road of the 21st Century”, with the aim of reviving the ancient trade routes of the Great Silk Road connecting Asia with Europe and Africa.
The long-term Belt and Road initiative, focused on creating a global integrated market environment and infrastructure, is a key development strategy for China, providing new investment projects and enormous opportunities for Chinese and global businesses.
The Belt and Road Summit will include a series of panel sessions, business seminars, and business meetings.
