The Massachusetts Sheep & Woolcraft Fair in Massachusetts features tidal threads, burlap yarns and fibers, wool-based products and services, etc. All Massachusetts sheep growers and wool lovers are invited to attend this event.

The Massachusetts Sheep and Wool Fair began in 1974 with an idea presented at a dinner at the home of Henry and Virginia Easterbrooks. The fair began as an outlet for a youth sheep judging competition. The main goal was to organize sheep shows throughout the state. The fair was held at the Cummington Fairgrounds every year except one. As the fair grew, sheep-related areas were added; dog testing, sellers, sheep and sheep wool auctions, lead and other animal fibers. Over the years, pieces of lamb have become a specialty food item, the parking lot is full on both days, the fiber workshops are full of variety and people, and the fair is still run on a largely volunteer basis.
