About event
The Lexington Kiwanis Club founded the Davidson County Agricultural Fair in 1946 and continues to operate the fair today. The Lexington Kiwanis Club uses proceeds from the fair to sponsor Kamp Kiwanis, a summer camping experience for more than 180 Davidson County boys and girls selected to attend by the Department of Human Services. Proceeds from the fair help maintain the camp’s log cabins, nature trails, playground and pool.
