About event
This will be the 7th annual New York Sounds of Summer International Music Festival and its success is attributed to fine musical ensembles looking for the best performance experience possible, and we strive to provide just that. Our mission is to provide young musicians with experiences that provide opportunities for musical growth and the creation of lasting memories. To enhance this experience, the festival’s venue is the prestigious Carnegie Hall. Admission to this festival is based on auditions only and is limited to a maximum of four ensembles, each receiving 30 minutes of total performance time at Carnegie Hall. However, we encourage groups of varying abilities to apply, as music education through live performance can be very beneficial for students at every stage of development.
