The Spielwarenmesse, also known as the Nuremberg International Toy Fair, is the world's largest trade fair for toys and games. Held annually in Nuremberg, Germany, since 1949, it is a crucial event for the toy industry, bringing together international decision-makers, well-known brands, and trendy start-ups. The fair is organized by Spielwarenmesse eG, a trade fair organizer and marketing service provider for the toy industry. In 2023, the fair featured 2,142 exhibitors from 69 countries, attracting 58,000 visitors from 128 countries. The fair is characterized by its large size, with an exhibition area of 165,000 square meters. The fair showcases approximately one million products annually, including about 70,000 new products. These are presented in twelve product groups, such as model making, hobbies, dolls, soft toys, games, books, learning and experimenting, multimedia, and more.

Held on the show's final day, this conference addresses the future of the toy trade and industry, including sustainability, toy safety, online marketing, and how to sell successfully on the Internet. The fair also includes special events and highlights such as the International Game Inventors Convention, the Toy Business Forum, and various networking and ordering platforms for industry players.
