Belgrade Beer Fest 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia

When in 2006, in the New Year's edition of the influential British newspaper The Independent, among the announcements of several dozen of the most attractive tourist events on the planet, the Belgrade Beer Fest 2024 found its place, it became clear that Belgrade and Serbia received an event that would become a kind of capital brand.

A pioneering attempt to popularize beer culture, in just five editions, it has become the largest tourist event in Belgrade, attracting more than half a million visitors every year. Free entry, promotion of hundreds of the most famous Serbian and foreign beer brands with a high-quality music program is the hallmark of the event.

The extremely attractive location at the confluence of two rivers, the Sava and the Danube, gives the festival a special charm, giving a unique feeling of harmony with nature.

Over the fifteen years of its existence, spectators were able to see more than 750 free musical performances. Bands such as Simple Minds, Rudimental, CeeLo Green, Stereo MC's, Marky Ramones Blitzkrieg and regional stars such as Darko Rundek, Laibach, Cold Beer, Partybreakers, Dubioza Kolektiv, Orthodox Celts, Vlatko Stefanovski, Van Gogh, Psihomodo Pop, Bajaga and Instruktor, Riblje Čorbe, Rambo Amadeus, Prljavog Inspektor Blaža and Kljunova, Kud Idijota noted Belgrade Beer Fest 2024 as an important factor in the formation of musical taste. This year, for the first time, the festival will have three music stages.

Currently, more than 450 brands of beer are presented at Beer Fest. With a wide selection of beer styles, the festival is a true paradise for beer lovers. The presence of a large number of representatives of the increasingly popular craft brewing movement gives a special charm to the event. Of course, the trademark is the largest domestic brewing companies, without whose support there would probably not be free entry to the festival.

Like many festivals around the world, Belgrade Beer Fest 2024 organizes months-long campaigns with strong social messages. I Choose to Recycle, Society, Who's Coming Home?, AIDS and STD Prevention Campaigns, When I Drink, I Don't Drive, Collaboration with the Red Cross and many more of the most important social campaigns carried out at Beer Fest.
