About event
The founding team of the Boston Seafood Festival represented women and men from across the Boston seafood industry with a shared vision of promoting the historical significance of seafood in New England. The first party was held at the seaport overlooking Boston Harbor. The crowd consisted of dozens of Boston's top chefs, seafood vendors and entertainers, and attracted a diverse audience from across New England. Year after year, the festival has grown and is now located on the site where this vital industry was born: the historic Boston Fishing Pier. Each year the event attracts more vendors, chefs, artists and visitors.
