North Carolina Apple Festival 2025 in Hendersonville, USA

The North Carolina Apple Festival 2025 is held annually on Labor Day weekend in Hendersonville, North Carolina. It has been Western North Carolina's Premier Family Festival for over 60 years.

You can enjoy 4 days of fun including one of the most famous street fairs in the Carolinas with freshly picked apples, arts and crafts, festival food and free entertainment at the historic Courthouse in Hendersonville Beautiful Main Street.

Start your day off with one of their breakfasts, then spend the rest of the day enjoying the excitement of Main Street, as well as many other activities in the community. And on Labor Day, don't forget the King's Apple Parade!

Why do we celebrate our apples here in Henderson County? The apple has been called the most beautiful of all fruits. It is also one of the most important crops grown in Henderson County. During a typical year, it generates an average revenue of $22 million or more. Apple growing has been part of Henderson County's culture and heritage since the mid-1700s. Today there are about 200 apple growers in Henderson County. North Carolina is the seventh largest apple producer in the country, and Henderson County produces 65% of all apples in North Carolina.

The North Carolina Apple Festival 2025 is proud to have 15 local apple growers participating in the Street Fair. You can buy a few apples or bushels of fresh local apples. Many of the producers also display items such as fried apple pies, apple pies, apple butter and apple cider at the festival.
