CIBUS TEC was first held in 1939. Frequency: every 3 years.
The roots of Cibus Tec go back to the founding of Tecnoconserve: witness and leader of trade fairs for technologies and food production methods, in particular one of the most dynamic and strategic sectors in the food industry: tomatoes and vegetables. From machines and harvesting technologies to logistics, from industrial processing to packaging technologies.
In the 70s, Cibus Tec created a specialized event dedicated to MILC dairy technology, once again confirming the exhibition’s leadership in the field of food technology.
Main themes
To create a unique international exhibition of the food industry and packaging that meets the requirements of the world food industry, special attention is paid to projects with high added value: the best technologies are presented on the national and international markets of the food industry, international technology partners of the global food industry are attracted
The IDF World Dairy Summit will be held as part of the exhibition. The summit program overlaps with the Cibus Tec profiles, which provides a unique opportunity for the entire dairy business community.
Food security – aims to ensure both food safety and hygiene and health safety. Conducted with the support of the International Dairy Federation, Assolatte and FAO.
Tomato day. In collaboration with AMITOM (Mediterranean Tomato Processing Association) and the World Tomato Processing Council, the day will focus on the world of the tomato industry with global experts discussing markets and prospects for the tomato industry.
Meat and seafood. Cibus Tec will also focus on meat and seafood. The exhibition area will focus on projects dedicated to the industrial processing of meat, sausages and seafood. Cibus Tec will also be involved in the promising sector of “ready-to-eat” products and new “convenience food” formulas.
Meat day in partnership with ASS.I.CA. (Association of the Italian Meat Industry) will complete the program. This event will discuss issues and innovations in the sector.
Days of fresh technologies Fresh Tec is one of the new directions of Cibus Tec: the first fresh congress on Fresh Cut & Fresh Convenience technologies will be held.
Logistics Cibus Tec. Logistics is acquiring a special role in supply chain management: thanks to the progress made in the field of information technology and automation, logistics is able to solve the time and environmental requirements of storing, processing and transporting products.
Focus on food packaging. Innovation in materials and packaging technologies is increasingly important for competitiveness in the food industry. Cibus Tec will present in-depth research into packaging technologies and demonstrate safe packaging materials and processes.
Technology forum Pasta. Pasta is the most Italian type of food industry product and the most developing. Italy, as the main consumer and producer of pasta in the world, has technologies that are exported throughout the world.
The CIBUS TEC exhibition consists of 3 sections:
1. TECNOCONSERVE – international exhibition for the production of juices, processing and canning of vegetables, fish and meat products. TECNOCONSERVE was first carried out 70 years ago and had no competitors. It was the first exhibition in this area, and all innovations in the production of canned vegetables, fish and meat are still exhibited here. The exhibition will feature machines, transport systems, raw materials, processing methods, industrial lines, packaging technologies and packaging materials. Here you can get acquainted with world achievements related to this industry.
2. MILC – international exhibition of dairy products. MILC is the heart of the dairy world. There are thousands of paths from milk to cheese. The Emilia Romagna region in Italy has a developed dairy industry, and MILC, as an exhibition, is worthy of presenting know-how and traditional technologies. This is the area where product and process innovation are quickly replaced by one another and where suggestions for packaging, labeling and bag design are also needed.
3. MULTITECNO – international exhibition of food industry technologies: packaging, hygiene, safety, labeling, transportability, etc.
